# Within — Personality Exploration > Within is a free, independent personality exploration website at mytypeguide.cc. It offers a 48-question questionnaire, a complete basic preference report, guides to 16 personality types, and comparisons of nearby types in seven languages. No account or payment is required. The questionnaire explores four preference pairs: Extraversion / Introversion (E/I), Sensing / Intuition (S/N), Thinking / Feeling (T/F), and Judging / Perceiving (J/P). Each pair has 12 equally weighted questions with balanced scoring directions. Percentages describe positions within this questionnaire, not population percentiles, accuracy, or the probability of having a type. Tied pairs remain unresolved; all-neutral answers do not produce a type. Within is not the official MBTI® assessment and has not been scientifically validated for reliability, accuracy, or equivalence across languages. Its type descriptions and comparisons are general material for personal reflection, not medical advice, diagnoses, career assessments, or predictions of relationship compatibility. The framework does not include an A/T axis or calculate eight cognitive functions. Questions and results are processed in the browser. Saved drafts and results stay on that device; optional local diagnostics are off by default and are not transmitted. Cloudflare Pages hosts the site and may process connection metadata. A shared link contains aggregate scores in its URL fragment. The test, personal result, and shared-summary pages are interactive, noindex experiences rather than editorial source pages; the fictional sample report is the public example. Current versions: questionnaire 1, scoring 1, editorial content 2, share format 1. Within is maintained by HuminiOS (huangminlinux). Public editorial content is available as static HTML, including when JavaScript is disabled. ## Start here - [How the questionnaire works](https://mytypeguide.cc/methodology/): Scoring formula, question directions, ties, near-midpoint results, versioning, and scientific limitations. - [Sample personality report](https://mytypeguide.cc/sample-report/): A clearly labeled fictional INFP report showing the free report format; it is not a real user result. - [All 16 personality types](https://mytypeguide.cc/personality-types/): Index of the four-letter preference combinations and their individual guides. - [Compare personality types](https://mytypeguide.cc/compare/): Index of the three available comparisons using everyday situations, work, and communication. ## Personality type guides - [INFP personality](https://mytypeguide.cc/personality-types/infp/): Meaning in the possibilities. In our four-preference framework, the difference is how you relate to plans and open options. - [INTP vs INTJ](https://mytypeguide.cc/compare/intp-vs-intj/): Both descriptions combine reflection, abstract patterns, and explicit reasoning. The contrast here is a preference for continued exploration or a more settled direction. - [ENFP vs ENTP](https://mytypeguide.cc/compare/enfp-vs-entp/): Both descriptions enjoy outward exchange, possibilities, and flexibility. This comparison focuses on whether values and personal effects or consistent criteria get your attention first. ## Languages - [English](https://mytypeguide.cc/): en homepage with links to the questionnaire and the same public guides in this language. - [Español](https://mytypeguide.cc/es/): es homepage with links to the questionnaire and the same public guides in this language. - [Português (Brasil)](https://mytypeguide.cc/pt-br/): pt-BR homepage with links to the questionnaire and the same public guides in this language. - [Français](https://mytypeguide.cc/fr/): fr homepage with links to the questionnaire and the same public guides in this language. - [Deutsch](https://mytypeguide.cc/de/): de homepage with links to the questionnaire and the same public guides in this language. - [日本語](https://mytypeguide.cc/ja/): ja homepage with links to the questionnaire and the same public guides in this language. - [简体中文](https://mytypeguide.cc/zh-cn/): zh-CN homepage with links to the questionnaire and the same public guides in this language. ## Optional - [About Within](https://mytypeguide.cc/about/): Project purpose, maintainer, free access, and editorial responsibility. - [Privacy and saved data](https://mytypeguide.cc/privacy/): Browser storage, sharing, local diagnostics, hosting disclosures, and controls for deleting saved test data. - [Terms and appropriate use](https://mytypeguide.cc/terms/): Purpose, limitations, availability, and responsible sharing. - [XML sitemap](https://mytypeguide.cc/sitemap.xml): All indexable public pages across seven languages, with language alternatives.
